HOLIDAY STRONG

It is an old English tradition to brew a heavier beer for the Winter months. These beers are usually associated with the holiday season. This tradition has been adopted by many small brewers in this country, and has turned into something of a required offering for the holidays. Some versions of Holiday Ales have added spice to create new flavors from the beer. Others brew stronger beers with more generous additions of hops to enhance flavor and bitterness. FBC Holiday Strong Ale falls into the second category. The alcohol content of FBC Holiday Strong Ale is 5.75% by weight. The higher alcohol content has a warming effect, therefore earning the label "Winter Warmers." We use a different featured hop every year. Faultline Brewing Company serves it's Holiday Strong Ale during the chilly Winter months starting the week of Thanksgiving.
