BELGIAN BLONDE

This is a lighter ale brewed in the Belgian tradition. Belgian beer is strong flavored with heavy aromatic qualities resulting from the strain of yeast used and the high temperature fermentation which this strain is best suited for. The flavor is quite strong for a beer that is the color of honey. The aroma is also rich and distinctly Belgian. Belgium has a long and proud history of beer brewing, although their beer is not as famous as their English and German neighbors. Belgian beer is less known in the United States because the breweries in Belgium are smaller and do not have the export power that the large European breweries have. The flavor of Belgian beer may be too unique for the average U.S. consumer. Their styles of beer are less defined because each brewer considers the product as an artistic interpretation. Belgium is known for having over 300 breweries with over 300 different styles of beer. This ale is the color of honey with a rich flavor and aroma that are distinctly Belgian. Faultline Brewing company brews the Belgian Blonde toward the end of Summer.
